10k & Beyond

This course has proved popular with runners looking to challenge themselves over a longer distance, including those who in the past have struggled with training on their own for a race and are looking for a supportive group.

Runners must be able to run 4 miles before starting this.

The course usually lasts 10 weeks, with 9 coached weeks (we break for half term), and we include a 10-week training plan to help people progress with their distance and fitness. The course includes interval sessions, lasting up to 25 minutes, hill reps and running drills.

As with all our courses, no one is left behind and we encourage having fun and supporting each other! There is no requirement to enter a half marathon, which is chosen from the UK race calendar, but we encourage you to do so and we support you at the race. Payment and race entry is made by individuals.

Mondays from 15th April* 9.15am – 10.15am

Please note that there is a one-off registration fee for first time Jog-onners of £15 – this includes a free branded t-shirt and access to Jog On Chat, the closed supportive Facebook community of Jog-onners.

Runs take place in and around Berkhamsted and Ashridge, we post details of each run, along with homework runs, on our Facebook page.
